It's important to know your elevator pitch... This is mine.
Born in 1977, in Atlanta GA, I grew up in the big city and went to college at Georgia Tech. I went to USMC Officer's Candidate School in 2001. That same year, I was married to my amazing wife Erin and we have two amazing kids.
My 20+ yr U.S. Marine Corps Career has been an amazing experience. I have been deployed 5 times and have been to countless countries around the world. I am a Marine Armor Officer (Tanks) by trade but have served across a myriad of specialties including: Tanks, Infantry, Airborne, Joint Tactical Air Control, Fires, Targeting, Formal Instruction, and Martial Arts.
Commando Designs was born from the same passion I had as a kid. I love to create new stuff and customize existing things.
When it comes to hobbies, I am definitely a jack-of-all-trades and a master-of-none. During the summers in high school, I was a whitewater river guide, and a kayaking instructor, in the mountains of North Carolina. In college, I was the president of the GA Tech Parachute Club, logging over 250 jumps. I've always been a passionate bass angler and recently I've started to find time to get back into whitewater boating.
Having a family will change your life and I'm no exception. It's exhausting and exhilarating. It's terrifying and rewarding.
There is so much good in this world but you have to find it. If you don't go looking for the good everyday, then everything that is wrong can come to you.
Thanks for your support.
Very Respectfully
Tony Davis
