10 December 2022 - Version 2.0 is on the street.
- I'm super excited to get version 2.0 published. This version is refined and the game-play is awesome.
Air Mail Adventure is a fully 3D printable tabletop game!
The year is 1942. The US Post Office is trying to establish a full-time air mail service and they have gotten off to a rocky start.
Flying at this time was a ridiculously dangerous endeavor. Military pilots just didn't fly in bad weather. The only way a mail service works is if it is reliable rain or shine.
The ARMY just pulled out all of their experienced military pilots helping the US Post Office get the program started.
Flying at this time was… Pretty much all art, and not much science. The biggest problems were navigation, followed by weather, and of course a little mayhem mixed in…
“Anyone can fly a plane in good weather. What about the other ninety percent of the time?”
So, that’s where you come in.
You and your buddies are young and fearless Aviators and it’s up to you get the job done. But there is a huge catch…
The Aircraft are under-powered, the weather always sucks, and you have no good way of navigating the open terrain of the country.
So basically, it’s the golden era of aviation.
Good luck!

No 3D Printer? No problem. No better time to learn than now.

3D Printing has gotten crazy easy and super cheap.
The 3D Printers I use for prototyping and building all my games are under 200$.
I use the Voxel Aquila 3D Printer (I actually have 3 of these). This printer is awesome and crazy cheap. It's super simple to setup and use and It's under 200$ on Amazon right now. The only thing else you need is some plastic (PLA) filament for the printer. I use the Amazon brand and it's like 16$ for a 2 lb roll. 2 lbs is a lot of plastic. You can print every piece needed for this game (including the terrain) and still have 75% of the roll left: Here's some more info:
3D Printer / $159: Voxel Aquila 3D Printer
PLA Filament / $17: OVERTURE PLA Filament 1.75mm
